It is crazy to think that Bourjois and their little round pots of blush have been around for 150 years now! To celebrate this epic anniversary Bourjois, the beauty brand born in belle Paris back in 1863, have released a limited edition vintage candle. Exclusively available from Selfridges online, this dusky-pink celebratory candle is adorned with the silhouette of Bourjois' first muse from twenties, Babette - an imaginary heroine whose adventures formed short stories published in the press and captured the dreams of women from the era. Not only does this candle look incredibly sweet placed by a vanity mirror or on my beside table, but it smells beautifully of roses (and a little like parma violets)! Sugary, powdery, floral and completely reminiscent of the scent of Bourjois' iconic blush, this candle is so dainty and sweet I think it will sell out pretty quick, so you can order your one here if you like the flowery scent of roses as much as me.
