I was so happy to see that my best friend Hannah from Beginners Beauty had bought me this little beauty as a birthday present as I've been loving using my Candy Apple Lip Butter recently. I've really been enjoying the formula of these and still have my eye on another shade or two, for now these two will do though!
Juicy Papaya gives your lips a little hint of orange, it isn't anywhere near as pigmented as Candy Apple. I am a little disappointed with the pigmentation, I would have liked it to be a little bolder but I still really like it. Just like Candy Apple the formula is creamy and moisturising, somewhere between a lipstick and a lip balm but it isn't like a balm stain/lip crayon. I think this shade is a little creamy than Candy Apple but not by much.
Don't get me wrong though I really love this lip product and have loved wearing it! If you are expecting lots of pigmentation though you'll only be disappointed if you purchase this. I will definitely be wearing this for sixth form though as the pigmentation level is perfect for it.
Lasting time isn't great but obviously the pigmentation doesn't help when it comes to that. You all know I don't mind reapplying products though so it doesn't bother me too much. Also just like last time I really love the Revlon Lip Butter packaging, who doesn't? It is one of my favourite products packaging wise and both shades have prime place in my lipstick holder (which is actually a nail polish holder!) as they are too pretty to keep in a draw!
Although I've pointed out a few little negatives I really do like this product! I would recommend it but it isn't for everyone.
Are you a fan of the Revlon Lip Butters?
