What Is Beyoncé's Parenting Style? - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Posted: 27 Jul 2019 11:13 AM PDT

Sure, Beyoncé is a world-class entertainer and one of the highest-paid actresses of 2019, but by the looks of things, being a mama is her favorite role ever.

When she's not taking her kids on vacation, she's posting photos of them on her social media accounts. But the famously private singer isn't exactly forthcoming when it comes to the details regarding how she raises her brood. So, is there any information on what Beyonce's parenting style is?

She's "very involved"

Don't get it twisted — Just because the Lemonade singer is one of the world's biggest artists, doesn't mean that she's a total workaholic. A source told People magazine on July 24 that Beyoncé's career actually comes second to her family.

"It might seem like her career would take up all her time, but it's quite the opposite. Her career is always second and her kids are her first priority,"  the insider said of the "Run The World" singer, who has three children — 7-year-old Blue Ivy and 2-year-old twins Sir and Rumi. "She is a fantastic mom and very involved."

"She's busy making a schedule and taking care of her kids. She makes sure they have scheduled activities and tutoring," the source continued. "She loves being a mom and wants to be around as much as possible."

Why doesn't she post them more?

Beyoncé is a famously private person, so it should come as no surprise that she's so quiet when it comes to her kids. A source opened up to HollywoodLife back in January about Beyonce's decision to keep her kids away from the public eye, telling the outlet, "She tries her best to keep life as normal for her children."

The insider continued, "She was instrumental in choosing schools for Blue to attend and made sure to choose the most private school she could find so that Blue could just be a normal child in preschool like all children her age."

So, clearly, Beyoncé reportedly wants her children to feel like every other kid. She seemingly wants Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir to know what it's like to play with friends and all the other things that are part of a normal childhood.

Will Beyoncé have more children?

It's unclear whether the superstar wants more children. However, she hinted at the number of children she wanted in a 2013 interview with Vogue. "When I was younger, there were moments where I said, 'I'm not going to have children,'" she told the publication. "And then moments when I wanted four."

Beyoncé's lucky number is four, so it wouldn't be surprising if she at least had one more. Not to mention, JAY-Z did tell Hot 97 in 2013 that he wants a "little basketball team" worth of children. However, the "Love Drought" singer has had some fertility and pregnancy issues that might have changed their plans.

Before her pregnancy with Blue Ivy, Beyoncé suffered a miscarriage, which she described as "the saddest thing." Years later, while pregnant with the twins, doctors diagnosed Bey with preeclampsia, which ultimately forced her to have an emergency cesarean section.

But you never know what can happen.

For now, though, it seems like Beyoncé is living comfortably with her three children and her husband. Can it get any better than that?

Beyoncé, Meghan Markle gush over baby Archie at 'Lion King' premiere - Page Six

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have left son Archie at home for the European premiere of "The Lion King" on Sunday, but he was still a hot topic.

After walking the golden carpet outside London's Odeon Theatre, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex greeted Beyoncé and Jay-Z, with the superstar singer gushing about the royal couple's infant.

"The baby is so beautiful," Beyoncé said of Archie, according to The Sun.

Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, who welcomed baby Archie in early May, also embraced Beyoncé and Jay-Z, whose three children, daughter Blue Ivy, 7, and 2-year-old twins Sir and Rumi, skipped movie night.

"They are not here. They don't come on every trip. We left them at home. They would love to have been here," Beyoncé, 37, told Harry, who had asked about her kids.

While Harry and Meghan have adjusted to life as parents, Jay-Z, 49, offered the pair some advice, suggesting they "always find time for yourselves."

Meghan and Harry have had a busy few weeks leading up to Sunday's screening.

Following Archie's christening earlier this month, the trio enjoyed a day out on Wednesday for Harry's polo match. Meghan also made an appearance at Wimbledon on Saturday with Kate Middleton and her sister, Pippa Middleton.
